“To present the character, work and teaching of Jesus Christ in order that others might trust Christ and become fully-devoted followers.”
“The Great Commandment”
“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
“The Great Commission”
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
They Loved God
The early church took its first step for God out of its passion for Him. We want every ministry we undertake to be motivated first by His love for us and our intense passion for Him.
They Loved Each Other
The early church exhibited a powerful love and unity among themselves. Jesus told them that such love would be what attracted people. As we learn to relate to each other with genuine concern and selfless abandon, we believe our community will be attracted to our God.
They Loved People
The early church exhibited an incredible concern for people, as Jesus did. People obviously matter to God; otherwise He would not have sent His Son to die for us. We seek to reach people as tenderly and compassionately as Jesus.
